JEWELRY EXPORTS INCREASED 31.5% TO 456 MILLION DOLLARS IN JULY

While jewelry exports reached 456 million dollars in July with an increase of 31.5 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, total jewelry exports between January and July increased by 48.5 percent and reached 2.91 billion dollars.

Jewelry Exporters’ Association announced the jewelry export figures for July. Accordingly, based on TIM data, exports amounted to 456 million dollars in July 2021. Thus, jewelry exports between January and July increased by 48.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 2 billion 916 million dollars. Most “Gold Jewellers and Jewelers’ Items” Exported in July Looking at the product groups, “jewelry and jewelry made of gold” was exported the most in July, followed by the “unprocessed or semi-processed gold” group. The product groups were listed as follows:
